What is the Cost

You will not be charged for the experimental AlloStim™ drug or the experimental immunological tests which will be performed as part of the study. However, you and/or your health plan/ insurance company will need to pay for some or all of the ancillary medical costs and the costs of taking care of any side-effects that might occur during this research study. Some health plans will not pay these costs for people taking part in research studies. You should check with your health plan or insurance company regarding their payment policies for medical care associated with a clinical study. You will be provided a coded bill for tests, procedures and medicines that are part of your care while on the study for submission to your insurance company. However there is no assurance that your insurance will reimburse for this medical care. The total cost that you or your healthcare plan/insurance provider will be responsible to pay is estimated to be $15,000 to $20,000.
